City Council
The Riverside Heights City Council is the governing body of the City of Riverside Heights, composed of five council members elected at-large to four-year staggered terms and a directly elected Mayor. The Council sets policy direction, adopts the annual budget of approximately $85 million, enacts ordinances, and provides oversight of city operations. Regular meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays at 5:00 PM in the Council Chambers at 500 River Road. All meetings comply with the California Brown Act and are open to the public. The Council also appoints members to the city's boards and commissions.
